The Sonoran Desert

The Sonoran Desert is one of four North American deserts including the Great Basin, the Mojave and the Chihuahuan.

The Sonoran spans 120,000 square miles across Arizona, California, the Colorado River Delta and into the Mexican state of Sonora and the Baja California peninsula.
