Road-Kill Compost
Dennis Sweeney delivers dead deer to the recycling center in Columbia County, Wisconsin.
Along with other organic garbage, these road-kill carcasses will be placed inside of a metal composting tube.
Once inside the tube, the organic matter is broken down by bacteria, water, air and motion.
After seven days of processing, the deer will be transformed into fertile soil.
