Jigokudani has an elevation ranging between 800 to 1,200 meters and is home to nearly 350 snow monkeys.
The average life span of a snow monkey in the park is 25-30 years.
Called "Hell's Valley", Jigokudani is heaven to the snow monkeys, lounging in the hot springs while snow softly coats their heads.
