Hawaii:Paradise in Peril
Located almost three thousand kilometers from every continent, Hawaii is an isolated archipelago rich with natural wonders.
The precious plant and animal species on this island chain survived for centuries - until the arrival of humans. Lobelias, honeycreepers, nene and monk seals are all in danger.
Native habitats and wildlife inhabitants are so endangered that only humans are can save them from further extinction.
Paradise may not be lost yet -- Minden Pictures photographer Frans Lanting visually explores Hawaii -- the final Biodiversity Series PhotoVoyage.
